1972 1600 Deluxe
This little gem appeared on eBay in August 2006.   The reserve was not met at the final bid of AU$6600.00 so it may still be for sale.


A one owner car, it was bought from a Sydney Ford dealer in March of 1973.   It must have been one of the last Capris built at the Homebush Sydney Ford plant in June 1972.



It is in a genuine Ford colour with optional wheel covers.   Notice the high back bucket seats; these became mandatory on Australian built cars in 1972 as part of the Australian Design Rule (ADR).
